“WE BELIEVE THAT ART CAN HELP TO CHANGE THE WORLD”
‘Last Chance to Paint’ aims to build the largest ever online gallery of children’s art based on the environment and to connect all of those young minds to global environmental issues
Artist John Dyer shares his top 10 tips on how to create a great piece of art for the ‘Procreate – Spirit of the Rainforest’ chapter of ‘Last Chance to Paint’.
Add your children’s amazing art to our ‘World Gallery‘ (terms & conditions apply) and help us to make what we hope will be, the biggest and best online art exhibition of children’s work based on the environment in the world. We are showcasing the art that is submitted to us from children around the world who are inspired by artist John Dyer’s travels and the subjects he paints. We hope that this visual conversation with the world will build long-lasting bonds for the children who take part. If your children already feel inspired by what you they have seen you can already submit their art to the gallery. We are accepting entries from children aged 16 and younger.
We are really good at this! Look at the results from our last project
The children’s art shown in the jAlbum gallery below is the result of our ‘Spirit of the Rainforest’ project that we ran in 2015/2016 with the Eden Project and Survival International. Artist John Dyer painted alongside Amazon Indian artist Nixiwaka Yawanawá and produced a new series of paintings on Amazon spirits, culture and the rainforest. This is an exciting new genre of art that we will be exploring again in ‘Spirit of the rainforest 2’ which will be one of the first ‘Last Chance to Paint’ projects we intend to run.
